AVASU is an experimental drone metal project from Houston, Texas. The project title is an acronym, standing for Atmospheric Vibrancy [and] Aural Sensory Unity, with Somniare as the project's one and only member. With inspiration from a variety of influences, including doom metal, dark ambient, and black metal, AVASU aims to entrance the listener into a state of dark, meditative serenity.
